Reflection

Reminiscing the Third Grading Period…

Oh! I can’t believe it. Fourth grading is now in our way. Third grading is over again and it’s time to welcome fourth grading period.

Reflections?....  It was nice period at all though sometimes I had also difficulties. But not so hard, I thought. In our lessons, we had again continued our activities in the second grading period. And here are some of the titles in our activities, applying body background color, background image, and hyperlinks. As usual, we wrote blogs again regarding: Responding to Climate Change, Equal Rights, Equal Opportunity, The True Meaning of Christmas and New Year, New Me. I have also composed and wrote about those titles. We had also tackled about FrontPage environment where Microsoft Office FrontPage was introduced to us and we had experienced to use this kind of Microsoft Office. And as Mrs. De Vera introduced to us, she said the easier and better ways in applying tags and links in making a FrontPage. She also told to us that we must first experience hardships before the better ways. Just like what we did in the FrontPage, there were already the prepared tags and links not what like in our previous activities that we had typed them all. We had also our project in which we have to make FrontPage and happily I have submitted it. We had also our practice teachers, Ms. Raiza Impelido and Ms. Donna Quillopo. They were so great and kind. Ms. Impelido is the one who handle us, Maxwell. And when we are inside the computer room, we’re all happy to have her as a teacher. Anyways, our third grading periodical test is definitely hard for me. I forgot the other tags and I was not even sure with my answers. As expected, the results came, I got low score. But there’s still another grading, right? So I will be more industrious to have a nice result. J

Reminiscing my third grading period in my fourth year high school life is like a rollercoaster. Because it has so many ups and of course downs. Like when the times that I was so problematic and there were also happy moments. I was so glad, third grading was over and hello fourth grading. And please come faster, Graduation Day. :D

New Year New Me

Another Year It Is…

Another year 2013 has given to us. Any plans or goals are you going to achieve this year? New Year, do I have also to have a New Me?

Experiencing another year is such a great gift from God. New Year…another chance to live, grow, experience, change for a better individual. Just like me, I have lots of goals, plans, promises and resolutions that I’m going to do it for this year. Almost every New Year I have always that plans but then I can’t see any improvement, I was always stuck in my old me. But for this year, I do promise myself to achieve all my goals to have a New Me. First, I will start it with myself just like you, right? I’ll be going to improve myself, ditch my bad habits, concentrate and prioritize my studies for me to graduate for this year, change the old me and be responsible enough in my works in school and home. I know my plans for this year are more but I will try all my very best just to see some improvement with myself. And this improvement will be going to happen I will be glad to see and these will be a big help to me as better one. I will also renew my relationships with the people around especially my love ones like my family, relatives, friends and of course God that they were so important to me and I will feel to them how much I love and treasure them for coming to my life. I am also planning to go other places that I haven’t visit yet, to take some adventures, fun and enjoyment with the places. And it means that I’ll be needing money, so I have to be thrifty enough to have lots of money for this coming summer vacation. In this 2013, I will also taking up another higher education and that is college year. There will be lots of trials again; I will be going to take up entrance exam, interviews and many more. Hoping that I will be passing and be with an education course. I think these are only some of my plans and goals that I’m going to share because there are lots more running in my mind about my plans for this 2013.

Having lots of plans and goals is not bad, right? What matter is trying them to achieve even if one by one because as we all know, you cannot do things at the same time. For me, I will start it today to do my plans to have a NEW ME! Because another year it is, that have given to us. I hope you have also these plans with yourself. Enjoy the year 2013. (:

Essence of Christmas...

The True Meaning of Christmas

Lanterns, Christmas trees, lights, Santa Clause, garlands are everywhere when Christmas is fast approaching. We often use to see these things. Do you think these are the essence or the true meaning of Christmas?

Well, we all know that December is the most awaited and happiest month of the year. When ber months come, we are already having the countdown for the Christmas day. And as what we see and feel the air breezes colder and that the sign that Christmas is coming on our way. Christmas, it’s the time when Christ was born. It is also the time to give love, share blessings and help one another as a gift to our savior Jesus Christ. Before Christmas comes, we have lots of traditions that we are doing. Like Christmas parties or programs where we got together as one group have our fun, games, eat many foods and of course the exchanging of gifts. But I think this is not the true meaning of Christmas. I’m not saying that it’s not good to have that kind of staffs but what’s better is why not give or share our gifts to the ones who really need, the unfortunate one. They are the one who need this. I know they cannot return what we gave to them but Christ will be the one to grant us for what we are doing well to our fellow men. Remember it’s better to give than to receive. So what’s now, try to give coins to the unfortunate people. At least we have shared our blessings and it also means that we gave love, right? Christmas is also the time when all family members have reunions, the misunderstandings are open up and finding solutions to have a happier relationship. It is also the time were we thanks our friends, classmates, relatives, family and Christ that they have been coming in our life. Loving one another, sharing our blessings, spreading the good news about God is the true meaning of Christmas.

Christmas is our favorite holiday. We must not think our own self but our fellow people, so you will know the essence of Christmas. Learn to love everybody and never forget to thank Him.

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

Treat Fairly For Equal Rights and Equal Opportunities!

“Life is so unfair!”—that is the words I often heard. Sometimes all I want to do is in just one click there will be no unfair things, it must all fair. But when will be the time when there will be no unfair things that will go to happen? The times when will be no discrimination, improper treatment to everyone especially to the unfortunate or uneducated ones, that there will be Equal Rights and Equal Opportunities.

Every one of us wants a change especially for the betterment of our country. Living in this world is full of experiences, wishes, and hopes. We are wishing that someday, somehow that we will be treat fairly. We are here in a democratic country and it means that we must be equally treated and united. But life seems to be imperfect. People do change and we do different things, good and even bad. Discrimination and crab mentality are some of the reasons why were not agreeing equal rights and equal opportunities. When something or someone is not good in our eyes we tend to give bad compliments and tried to discriminate them. We do not treat them as what we do to our friends and fellowmen. Crab mental people are not also good in our community and even in our country. They tried to pull down the person who just got higher position than them; they didn’t want to be left. In this month, we are having the campaign “Equal Rights and Equal Opportunities.”We are born in this world to treat fairly as what our Almighty Father had made us. We must avoid doing bad things to all people. We must treat our fellowmen as how we treat ourselves. We have to love and unite as one family or one country. Treat fairly for us to have a happier relationship and be nearer to God. If we will accept Equal Rights, everybody will have equal opportunities. There must be no exception. And there will comes a time that fair thing do happen. Everybody will be given a chance.

And now, we must now treat fairly. Promote now the Equal Rights and Equal Opportunities, for a brighter future and better next generation. It’s time for a change!

Responding To Climate Change

Act Now As Response to Climate Change!
Change...it’s a permanent thing in this world. Every now and then, we cannot avoid experiencing endless changes in our surroundings. Some are for the better and the other are for worst. But how are you familiar with the climate change that is happening now? What moves will you going to do?
Global warming, greenhouse effect, extreme rainfall, seasonal temperature changes are some signs of climate change. With our carelessness, we are experiencing or suffering climate change. We’re not using properly our gifts from God, the nature. Were just keeping in using on them and not replacing, we always thought that these things will be forever unlimited for our daily needs. We also abused this natural resources and Mother Earth is now crying for help to save her from danger.  And now, we are suffering our wrong doings so there’s now the so-called Climate Change. Climate Change is one of the latest issues of this year. Most of the people suffered this change. As the highest kind of individual, we are responsible to take good care of our nature. But what are we doing? We just keep them taken for granted. We should love them as how we love our self. We’re in the hands for the improvement of our nature and that means that does will be a response to climate change. As a youth, I can already do many moves as response to climate change. I will start of course to myself; I will have discipline with myself by making moves or actions for our Mother Earth. I have to do  the 3R, Reuse, Reduce, Recycle, use papers and recycled materials, avoid using and burning of plastics, avoid burning dried leaves instead let it dry for a month and then use it as fertilizer. I will plant more trees to have a fresh air in our surrounding and they will help reduce water during rainy days. I will participate programs for the implementation of the environment like tree planting, campaign about illegal logging and fishing and many more.
Let us now begin to move and act for our natural resources as response to climate change and to preserve the beauty of Mother Earth. So that, we will be have unlimited natural resources, we’ll be having a bountiful foods and for a better tomorrow. Act Now!

Reflection...

Flashback Time to Second Grading Period!

Time really flies too fast. Second Grading is near to an end. And third grading is fast approaching.

Flashback…At last, first grading was over and I remembered how I welcome second grading. I was so glad that I was now in the second grading period of my fourth year high school. Reflections??? It was not that easy but it was not also difficult. Parts of a Web Browser, Page Address, Search Engines, HTML, HTML Tags and Tag Attributes were some of our lessons in the second grading period. In the first place, when I am surfing the Internet, I didn’t mind what the parts of Web Browser and Page Address are. I only memorized the most used parts. But now, because of our subject ICT and our dear teachers, my knowledge increases especially in computers. I also met some words like HTML and HTML Tags. We have also lots of exercises in which we’re going to use the Notepad. My skills in writing were also enhanced because I have tried my best to write my drafts and posted them on my blogs. The subjects of our blogs were sometimes hard but then I have done my blogs and finished them on time. I have also experienced difficulties when we were having quizzes because I can’t remember what I have reviewed. But the hardships and pressure were not the reason to give up.
In this second grading period, I have experienced happiness, sorrows and failures but then here I am still holding on and keep moving on. I kno  w, there will be next grading period and I hope I will be better in the third grading period.:)

Upholding English Proficiency For Communicative Competency

Use English Language: For Communicative Competency and Better life

English, that’s the reason why everybody in this world can communicate and understand with one another. Imagine the life without English language, how can we listen, speak, write with all the people if it does not exist in our everyday life?

Having this language as a universal language is very great. Because of this, we were able to share and express our thoughts, feelings, experiences, interests and knowledge. In this October Fest, we are celebrating the English month or English Olympics. In which it promotes “Upholding English Proficiency For Communicative Competency”. It encourages everyone to uphold English Proficiency to have a better and clearer communication. It also increases self-confidence in communicating or talking to someone, even in participating activities like inside the school: Speech Choir, Declamation Contest, Jazz Chant, Oratorical and others. It also gives chances to have a proper communication with the people around us like family, friends, classmates, teachers and everyone. In these years, there was also the spread of Jejemon language in which it doesn’t help in upholding the English Proficiency because it just destroy the proper communication especially in the usage of English language. Jejemon changes the language like spelling, pronunciation and correct grammar. Many supported this jejemon because it takes a shorter time especially in texting and chatting because you can just shortcut or remove some letters from a word. But many still disagreed because it does not help in the promotion of English Proficiency and dealing, communication skills. It also gives way to understand with each other even though you were any part of this wide world.

So what’s for now, you and I should start in using English language to uphold English Proficiency for Communicative Competency and better life.:)
