Reflection to the First Quarter

My Reflection to the First Quarter

“Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere.” Yes I really believe in this quote. In the first quarter of my fourth year of high school, I have already learned many things. Do you want to know what the discoveries that I have learned are?

At first, I really don’t know what the history of Internet was. But when our teacher introduced and taught to us, I was so glad that I have already knew these events. I have also discovered the people who have contributed for the invention of network from ARPANET to Internet, the Internet architects, Philippine Pioneers and Software Pioneers, the people who also introduced Internet to our country Philippines. I have also learned about blogs and everything. Before I was not interested with blogs but when our teacher introduced to us, I became more interested in blogs. I can now write and share my ideas and knowledge. In this subject, the problems or challenges that I have encountered are in memorizing many dates and names of people. So far, I haven’t yet experience the most difficult problem ever because I am listening to my teacher’s instruction and trying all my very best just to answer all the questions in my quizzes and to cope up with my lessons. I have addressed these challenges with the help of my dear teacher and especially having my self-study.

I am very much thankful to our teacher for feeding us lots of lessons and knowledge.  Moving on, I will do my very best in the second grading period and next grading period then. I will try all the best I can just to have high scores in my quizzes and to make my works like blogs to be creative enough. And I hope I will learn many more things and lessons from my dear teacher.

SONA 2012

Nothing Is Impossible!

“Report to Boss”—this was the title of the State of the Nation of Address 2012 of President Benigno Simeon Aquino III who rallied last July 23, 2012 at Session Hall of the House of Representatives, Batasan Pambansa Complex, Quezon City.

Every year a president reports to his fellowmen if what its administration has been accomplished and what he will make or implement to move forward for a better country. Our Philippine President Benigno Simeon Aquino III delivered his third SONA last Monday. “Nothing is impossible to a united nation. It was change we dreamed of and changed was achieved!”—President Aquino said. The main topic tackled in Aquino’s 2012 SONA are Relief and Rescue Operation if there is a calamity, it is now ready, GDP Group Rate of Philippines in the first quarter of 2012 is now on 64% which is higher than 3.6% on the first quarter of 2011. We are now the one who are lending money, Foreign Media praised the progress of the economy of the Philippines, 85% of the Filipinos are now members of PhilHealth, and 11,751 Community Health Teams strengthen the relation of doctors and nurses in the community. DepEd had already helped in the shortage of classrooms and chairs, Campaign against Illegal logging, proper collection of Taxis one of the reason to have change in the economy, Impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona. He also told about West Philippine Sea. “It is not right to just give it away our own to others. Don’t just forgive and forget.” These are the very important topics that have discussed by President Aquino. I think President Aquino have done his best to became the leader of our nation. I can only say to his speech is that he has delivered it properly and clearly. Are we really now experiencing the so called “change”? I don’t think so because there were still many Filipinos who are experiencing poverty and shortage of their basic needs. I hope Aquino administration will be more active in implementing programs and services for the betterment of our nation.

“What was once impossible is now possible. This is not my SONA, it is the SONA of the Filipino Nation”—that was the last part of President Aquino’s speech.
